देहरादून। मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने शनिवार को मुख्यमंत्री कैम्प कार्यालय स्थित मुख्य सेवक सदन में अंतरराष्ट्रीय बालिका दिवस के अवसर पर आयोजित “बालिका शिक्षा प्रोत्साहन कार्यक्रम” में प्रतिभाग किया। महिला सशक्तिकरण एवं बाल विकास विभाग द्वारा आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में 326 मेधावी बालिकाओं को स्मार्टफोन प्रदान किए गए, वहीं जनपद और विकासखण्ड स्तर पर हाईस्कूल और इंटरमीडिएट की परीक्षा में टॉप करने वाली छात्राओं को सम्मानित भी किया गया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने सभी बालिकाओं को अंतरराष्ट्रीय बालिका दिवस की शुभकामनाएँ देते हुए कहा कि “बेटियों ने इस वर्ष भी अपनी मेहनत, प्रतिभा और संकल्प के बल पर अद्भुत परीक्षा परिणाम दिए हैं।” उन्होंने बताया कि हाईस्कूल परीक्षा में 90% और इंटरमीडिएट में 83% विद्यार्थी सफल हुए हैं, जिनमें बालिकाओं का सफलता प्रतिशत क्रमशः 93% और 86% से अधिक रहा है।
