दीपावली और अन्य त्योहारों को ध्यान में रखते हुए उत्तराखण्ड सरकार ने प्रदेशभर में मिलावटी खाद्य पदार्थों के खिलाफ सख्त अभियान शुरू किया है। मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के निर्देश पर स्वास्थ्य सचिव एवं खाद्य सुरक्षा आयुक्त डॉ. आर. राजेश कुमार के नेतृत्व में राज्यभर में छापेमारी और सैंपलिंग अभियान तेजी से जारी है।
सरकार ने स्पष्ट संदेश दिया है कि खाद्य सुरक्षा से कोई समझौता नहीं होगा। इसी क्रम में देहरादून जिले में बुधवार को सुबह 4 बजे से औचक निरीक्षण अभियान चलाया गया। सेलाकुई, विकासनगर, ऋषिकेश और मसूरी में छापेमारी के दौरान अस्वच्छ स्थिति में वितरित किया जा रहा पनीर जब्त किया गया। लगभग 180 किलो पनीर मौके पर ही नष्ट किया गया और 15 खाद्य नमूने जांच हेतु प्रयोगशाला भेजे गए हैं। रिपोर्ट आने के बाद दोषियों पर कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
विकासनगर में स्कूटी से अस्वच्छ स्थिति में वितरित किए जा रहे 60 किलो पनीर को नष्ट किया गया, जबकि सेलाकुई में होंडा सिटी कार से 120 किलो पनीर ले जाते हुए पकड़ा गया। विभाग ने उसका नमूना लिया और शेष पनीर को शीशमबाड़ा ट्रेंचिंग ग्राउंड में नष्ट कराया।
हरिद्वार में खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग और पुलिस की संयुक्त टीम ने पदार्था क्षेत्र में मिठाई निर्माण इकाइयों पर बड़ी कार्रवाई की। गंदगी और कीचड़ के बीच मिठाई तैयार करते पाए जाने पर दो कुंतल बतीसा नष्ट कराया गया तथा फूड लाइसेंस न होने पर एक फैक्ट्री को तत्काल बंद कर दिया गया। गुलाब जामुन, रसगुल्ला और बतीसा के नमूने जांच हेतु भेजे गए हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि त्योहारों के दौरान मिलावटखोर सक्रिय हो जाते हैं, लेकिन सरकार किसी को भी नागरिकों के स्वास्थ्य से खिलवाड़ नहीं करने देगी। उन्होंने चेतावनी दी कि मिलावट करने वालों को किसी भी हाल में बख्शा नहीं जाएगा।
मुख्यमंत्री ने सभी जिलाधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए हैं कि मिलावट की slightest आशंका पर भी तत्काल छापेमारी करें। अपर आयुक्त श्री ताजबर सिंह जग्गी ने बताया कि टीमें सुबह से देर रात तक सक्रिय रहेंगी। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार का यह सख्त रुख उपभोक्ताओं में भरोसा और सुरक्षा की भावना को और मजबूत कर रहा है।
