उत्तराखंड की राजधानी देहरादून में वायु प्रदूषण का स्तर लगातार खतरनाक होता जा रहा है। शुक्रवार सुबह एयर क्वालिटी इंडेक्स (AQI) 300 के पार दर्ज किया गया, जो कि ‘बहुत खराब’ श्रेणी में आता है। मौसम विशेषज्ञों और स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने आने वाले दिनों में प्रदूषण में और बढ़ोतरी की चेतावनी दी है।
विशेषज्ञों का कहना है कि हवा में PM2.5 और PM10 जैसे सूक्ष्म प्रदूषकों की मात्रा सामान्य से कहीं अधिक हो गई है, जो सांस के रोगियों, बुजुर्गों और बच्चों के लिए बेहद नुकसानदेह है।
स्वास्थ्य विभाग की चेतावनी
स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने अस्थमा, ब्रोंकाइटिस और अन्य सांस से जुड़ी बीमारियों से पीड़ित लोगों को घर से बाहर निकलने से बचने की सलाह दी है। साथ ही, मास्क का उपयोग, हाइड्रेशन बनाए रखने और सुबह-शाम की सैर से परहेज करने की भी अपील की गई है।
डॉ. नीरज भट्ट (फिजिशियन) ने बताया – “इस स्तर की वायु गुणवत्ता लंबे समय तक बनी रही तो सांस संबंधी मरीजों की संख्या में भारी इजाफा हो सकता है। बच्चों और बुजुर्गों को विशेष सावधानी बरतने की जरूरत है।”

प्रशासन की अपील
स्थानीय प्रशासन ने प्रदूषण पर नियंत्रण के लिए पानी का छिड़काव, निर्माण स्थलों पर जाल लगाने, और वाहन चालकों को अनावश्यक हॉर्न न बजाने की हिदायत दी है। स्कूलों में बच्चों के लिए विशेष निर्देश भी जारी किए जा सकते हैं।
