आपदा निधि खर्च न करने पर प्रदेश के आठ सीईओ का जवाब तलब किया गया है।संतोषजनक जवाब नहीं मिलने पर प्रतिकूल प्रविष्टि मिलेगी।
माध्यमिक शिक्षा निदेशालय ने आपदा निधि से काम शुरू न होने और इसे खर्च न करने पर आठ जिलों के मुख्य शिक्षा अधिकारियों का जवाब तलब किया है। सभी सीईओ से तीन दिन के भीतर जवाब मांगा गया है। शिक्षा निदेशक डॉ. मुकुल कुमार सती ने कहा, जवाब संतोषजनक न मिलने पर अधिकारियों को प्रतिकूल प्रविष्टि दी जाएगी।
शिक्षा निदेशक ने मुख्य शिक्षा अधिकारी पौड़ी, चमोली, टिहरी, रुद्रप्रयाग, पिथौरागढ़, नैनीताल, बागेश्वर व अल्मोड़ा का जवाब तलब करते हुए कहा, राज्य मोचन आपदा निधि के तहत स्कूलों में आपदा से हुई क्षति पर धनराशि अवमुक्त की गई थी, लेकिन अब तक इस धनराशि को खर्च करने के लिए समुचित कार्रवाई नहीं की गई। जो सरकारी काम के प्रति आपकी उदासीनता को दर्शाता है।
स्पष्ट किया जाए कि अब तक धनराशि खर्च क्यों नहीं की गई। माध्यमिक शिक्षा निदेशालय की ओर से इससे पहले भी कुछ मुख्य शिक्षा अधिकारियों का निर्माण कार्यों में उदासीनता पर जवाब तलब किया गया था।
