मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने आज शासकीय आवास परिसर के उद्यान में 17 प्रजातियों के ट्यूलिप उगाने की मुहिम का शुभारंभ किया। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने सपरिवार ट्यूलिप के बल्ब रोपकर अभियान की शुरुआत की। परिसर के उद्यान में इस वर्ष कुल चार हजार ट्यूलिप बल्ब रोपे जा रहे हैं, जिनमें लेक पर्पल (Lake Purple) और बाइकलर (Bicolor) जैसी विशेष रंगत वाली प्रजातियां भी शामिल हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने उद्यान विभाग को ट्यूलिप के व्यवसायिक उत्पादन के लिए कार्ययोजना तैयार करने के निर्देश दिए और पुष्प उत्पादन एवं बागवानी के क्षेत्र में नवाचार पर विशेष जोर दिया। उन्होंने ट्यूलिप उत्पादन की तकनीक और संभावनाओं को लेकर उद्यान प्रभारी दीपक पुरोहित से विस्तार से जानकारी ली।
इसके साथ ही मुख्यमंत्री ने शासकीय आवास परिसर में संचालित मशरूम उत्पादन, मौनपालन (हनी बीकीपिंग) सहित बागवानी से जुड़े विभिन्न कार्यों का भी अवलोकन किया और इन गतिविधियों को स्वरोजगार एवं आयवर्धन से जोड़ने पर बल दिया।
